The first priority must be the safety and well-being of the dog/s and therefore the owner will be responsible for ensuring that any directions given during the shoot meet with their approval, and the photographer will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur as a result.
As the great outdoors is my studio, the outcome of the shoot will be heavily dependent on the Great British Weather. Most conditions can be coped with, but if you are not happy with the ‘wet look’, I reserve the right to re-schedule the shoot for a more suitable day.
In the event of my own incapacity to work due to illness etc, I will make every effort to re-schedule for another mutually-convenient day, but if this is not possible, a full refund of the booking will be given.
Bookings can only be taken upon receipt of the initial booking fee as a deposit and to secure your photo shoot, by PayPal or Bank Transfer. The booking fee is £25 for the Mini Outdoor Shoot and £35 for all other photo shoot options.
I will then forward confirmation of receipt of the deposit and an invoice for the remaining balance of the full package. Payment for this must be received by at least seven days prior to the agreed date of the shoot. Your payment will be treated as your acceptance of my terms and conditions. This includes the understanding that you are purchasing a unique and bespoke service that is reflected in the work displayed on my website. Therefore refunds will not be offered, except in exceptional circumstances and at my own discretion.
After the shoot, and after the photographs have been edited to my satisfaction, I will upload your photos to my website and supply you with log in details to view them within your own private gallery. We will then arrange to meet up again to view the photos together and you can choose the prints and products you wish to purchase.
Gift Vouchers are available for Full Packages or in any monetary denominations to suit your requirements. Please contact me with your requests.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit is non-fundable. Notice can be given by the client to postpone the shoot seven or more days prior to the scheduled shoot date, however, if the client is unable to re-schedule for a new date within a month from the original, this will be treated as a cancellation. If less than seven days’ notice is given to re-schedule, a re-booking fee of £15 will be incurred.
True Dog Photography reserves the right to use photographs taken on the shoot for advertising, publication or display purposes and/or for sale either via the website or printed copies at an event. However, if anyone in addition to the dog/s being photographed features, written consent will be required from the client, owner or guardian.
I, the photographer, retain the entire copyright of the photographs, including ownership of all materials, at all times throughout the world, with the exception of pre-agreed commercial shoots.
Digital copies of the photographs can be purchased, however these will include the True Dog Photography logo. This is so that high quality copies can be shared on social media but cannot be stolen and used by other parties without my permission.
No photos on the True Dog Photography site, that have not been purchased as a digital download, may be downloaded, screenshot or used in any way without express permission from myself, the photographer and will be a breach of UK Copyright law.
The photographer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice
